SADNESS – A New Language

Sadness doesn’t reach me never alone.

At least,

         hardly ever.

It’s on time,

         the Sadness,

along the perpendicular axis of my moments.

It splits the minute.

And it clings to my flesh

                          like firewood.

Sadness that I know

now it no longer confuses me.

It knows how to take me.

It knows how to circumvent me.

    It knows that.

And I let myself be surprised.

    I let myself suspend.

    I let myself be dragged.

    I let myself drown.

I get carried away by a current,

that it’s not about holding out.

I’m your, Sadness
