Life! Life!
Look, how nature
has gained a new child,
a young tree with shy leaves
eagerly absorbs the sun’s rays,
the branches – ballerinas’ hands
dance a seductive dance of creation,
the golden beats of a new life
in the white cherry blossoms.
Full of respect,
I blinked for a moment
and a quiet whisper from my lips began,
I wish you more happiness in life
than I had.
